Just admire him from a distance. Getting together with just co-workers is usually a bad idea, nevermind your boss.

I know it’s a bad idea but we’re like perfect together. Same sense of humor, same “fuck the world” kind of attitude and we work together really well...

I dunno...pipe dream probably.

After I finished high school, one of the managers I worked with was really hot. Like HOT. He had played some (very) small college football at defensive lineman and was exactly my type. I had trouble talking around him, that’s how flustered I was. Great guy though, and he was painfully straight s o nothing was ever going to happen.  Man was he hot though.

I will just see what happens... he came over last night and I passed out on him and he didn’t do anything...He laughed about it at work today...

I’d still be wary.  Especially if it’s a job you like, those can be few and far between.

We both don’t give a shit about our jobs, I can go back into advertising if I want to. We’ve been both looking for other jobs. Our boss boss is a mega bitch so we kinda don’t give a fuck.

Seriously, our boss boss is well into her 60s, skipped out of work early this weekend so she could go to an Imagine Dragon concert.... Holding onto your well faded youth aren’t we dear.

I was at Yosemite with my wife a few years back and we went into one of the stores and the cashier, kind of a slob, really, just smiled at me and got kind of silly and he just sort of generally lost his composure and on our way out, my wife grinned at me and said , “H e liked you! ” She sort of elbowed me and I probably blushed a little. I was sort of flattered and I felt great about being comfortable enough with my wife, and with myself, that we could have that exchange.

LOL!

Now that I’m older, I don’t get as flustered when I encounter someone I find attractive. However, if I’m walking when it happens, I forget where I was going and end up somewhere I didn't mean to go.

Oh good lord. I can’t stand that band.

Be careful. Things tend to get weird and/or bad in the workplace afterwards . It might not be worth the trouble.

I am 43 and single and I would trade any job I have ever had for a good, loving relationship with someone I both respect and cherish. You were looking for a job when you found that one, you can always find another. You get the one life, make it the best life.

Careful! When you dip your pen in company ink, you can't write off anything as a business expense. Or in other words, it basically will color every interaction you have with that coworker. It can sometimes work out, especiay if you're at the bottom of the ladder, but relationships always complicate things at work, especially when one reports to the other.

I’ve dated co-workers a few times, none of them worked out but the splits weren’t bad, so we were able to easily co-exist afterward.

I’d say it’s worth a shot!!! You miss every shot you don’t take. :)

But be prepared if it all goes wrong.
